These Chinese zodiac pendants came from a dusty box of Chinese ink stamps I stumbled upon in an “antique” shop in my hometown, Providence, RI.

Product Information: Tiger people are difficult to resist with their magnetic characters. They are tempestuous, yet calm, warm-hearted, yet fearsome. They enjoy a life full of challenges and unexpected events, like visiting unusual places and meeting interesting or outstanding people. Usually open and frank, these people are likely to withdraw and can be aggressive when trapped. Notice how well the ink stamp captures the tiger's movement. Not bad for a woodblock. The pendant is 2 inchs wide and 2 inches long with a fierce ruby in his eye.
