The Key Factor

This car tag was buried away in a box on a side street of one of Paris' more sprawling flea markets. I remember that the day was sunny after many grey ones and I was more than happy to rumage through boxes of rusty metal pieces of old industrial stamps, keys and random items. At the time I didn't know why I wanted the tag, but I grabbed it anyway. I love the idea that someone had used this everyday. It offers a sense of coming and going, movement in general which I hope is reflected in the piece.

Make sure you check out the front and back. One side has the information and the other has the brand and a little white diamond.
