I found the original twig in New York City on a day when the heat battled the car exhaust and the city had a certain emptiness only felt on city summer days. I remember sitting outside enjoying how New York City feels different in every season and that- despite the choking heat - there's no better place to watch life ramble by.

I grabbed this twig to cast in an attempt to capture that sense, if that is at all possible. I like the fact that it is in the shape of a wishbone. I remember living in New York in my 20s and wishing for a lot of things. Some of them came true, some didn't.
