Aquamarine Dangling Earrings
Aquamarine is a blue or blue green variety of beryl, a beryl aluminum silicate mineral. Its first known use was in Greece between 300 and 500 B.C. Its name comes from a Latin word meaning 'water of the sea'. According to folklore, Aquamarine was believed to be mermaidsâ€™ treasure and was worn to bring good luck, eternal youth and happiness. It is metaphysically known as a stone of courage and fortitude and is said to assist with quick intellectual response and calm communication. Aquamarine is associated with the throat chakra. The stones are 14 mm each.
