Iceland's flea market didn't have the chic feel of the French market, or the sprawling invigorating chaos of the Roman markets. It offered more plastic and leather with spots of fur, coffee mugs and shot glasses than antique mirrors and elegant chandeliers. Despite the dearth of substantially intriguing pieces to inspire jewelry, I did come across some hand-made lace.

Product Information: This derivative piece of jewelry is inspired from that overcast but pleasant day and attempts to mirror aspects of the country with a sense of soft symmetry surrounded by cold water. I added a little more ice with a series of white diamonds scattered throughout and one rose-cut yellow diamond. This piece is 2 inches in diameter.
