Iceland's flea market didn’t have the chic feel of the French market, or the sprawling invigorating chaos of the Roman markets. It offered more plastic and leather with spots of fur, coffee mugs and shot glasses than antique mirrors and elegant chandeliers. Despite the dearth of substantially intriguing pieces to inspire jewelry, I did come across some hand-made lace.

Product Information: This derivative piece of jewelry inspired from that overcast -- but pleasant -- day, attempts to mirror aspects of the country with a sense of soft symmetry. This particular shape is rather ambiguous, not quite a circle and not quite a star. They are each 1/2 of an inch in diameter.
