Deities

Buenos Aires antiques market made the lovely city even more difficult to leave. A mixture of all the wonderful cities BA had just about everything for a winter-worn traveller. 

Since BA does have traditional Catholic ties, I knew I wanted to make something to reflect this. This piece is from a guardian angel pendant from the early 1900 (so I think I understood). I liked that the angel loomed large, with the wings taking up almost all of the background. The piece retained this sense of being watched over. I wanted to do something a little different so I made a ring out of it.
