Behind the Scenes
The eclectic collection of Jessica Ricci is inspired by her love for treasure hunting and travel. Through these adventures, she finds inspiration in some of the most unique places and in discarded objects.
All of the pieces in this collection are created from what she found in markets around the world from San Francisco to Paris to Mumbai. She is never disappointed by both the splendor of these markets and their endless offering of creativity.

About the Materials:
The stones chosen for the Raw collection are “natural” or un-treated, meaning they are not dyed, heat treated (with the exception of some of the rubies), gamma or electron irradiated, lasered or fixed with chemicals to get rid of inclusion. Instead, we have tried to find stones that retain what the earth made, with all the flaws and layers that make each stone earthy in nature. For this reason, the stones that are shown on the site are close representations, but every ring will be unique.
Some of the pieces are in 10k and some are in 14k. This was a combination of wanting to offer a variation in prices. The 10k has a soft pink hue that lends itself well to many of the designs. If there are certain pieces that you would prefer in a higher grade metal, you can email Jessica@JLRiccillc.com.
The Jessica Ricci Collection uses Argentium for all of my sterling silver pieces. Argentium is a kind of sterling silver that does not tarnish. It is a modern sterling silver alloy which modifies the traditional alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) by replacing some of the copper with the metalloid germanium. As it retains the same 92.5% silver content, it is still sterling silver, just as the traditional alloy.
This is a video documenting Jessica Ricci’s trip to Nepal and Tibet in search of jewelry inspiration.
